Velo Hobo Wood Burning Stove Thingie

DSC03376

Inspired by Jim Wood’s Fire Bucket and motivated by rainy day boredom I’ve put together a new windscreen for the Snow Peak 700. It has three pot positions, one on the very top of the screen and one a bit lower for twig fires (my preferred way to boil water) and a lower position for a tea light alcohol burner. There’s a burn platform sitting just above the air intake made of wire mesh. It all fits neatly inside the pot and probably has less than a dollars worth of material.

We’ll see how it works in a few weeks.

Here’s the link to Jim Woods Fire Bucket.
