Bryson City Beer and Bicycle Brunch

This morning’s ride featured both regional and local brews.  First up was a regional brew. The Highland Brewing Company out of Asheville, North Carolina is one on my favorites, and if Guinness is unavailable, their Black Mocha Stout is my ‘go to’ beer.  Anthony’s Pizza, where we were brunching had neither, so it was the Oatmeal Porter, almost equally as tasty.

Then on to our new local brewer, the Nantahala Brewing Company, for a growler of Bryson City Brown Ale.  They are in the process of remodeling to create a tasting room.  This has the potential to be one of our favorite day ride destinations.

Thanks for reading, Jack
