Ocean Air Cycles

Ocean Air Cycles has a beautiful frame pack set-up for road bikes. This rig would make a great Ultralight tourer for a few days to a week…longer if you are credit card touring.

nice to see frame packs making it out to the masses….
but frame packs can never be mass produce….
since frame sizes change from one bike manufacture and style of bike….
when i had my frame pack made ….i had to make a template for epic designs…

Catching up on old links. The only way to get frame bags more into the open market will be to start a collection of templates from the more common makers, i.e. surly, rivendell etc. Even then each bag is pretty much custom. To do a standardized bag leads to many compramises. Another challenge is getting a useful fram bag with room for water bottles on a fram smaller than 56, no problem if you nix the bottles.

As for the light, mine is close to 4 years old and going strong. I use eneloop batteries and get about 2.5 hours out of it, good enough for my needs.

Frame packs seem to be a growing cottage industry in the biking world. They are a great idea. (the Dinotte light is on Ocean Air’s bike, maybe they will post a reply).
